Default Series 2 owners help me please!!

I'm thinking about swapping my MR2 Turbo for a S2 turbo. I don't know that much about the RS yet, nor does he know that much about the MR2. I know most guys here will be biast to the RS but can you please give me an honest opinion on if you think is is an alright deal?

MR2
1990 G reg Rev 1, out of MOT & tax at the end of November. It will not pass an MOT exactly as it is as it needs brake and reversing light bulbs changed, and also a top mount and ARB rubber for the front suspension. It is on Koni's,very low, good nick, the linkage bearings are worn so changing gear is a bit tricky sometimes. It is a quick car. It is the full Turbo spec, Half Leather, AirCon, etc, 16" Momo sport wheels, Momo steering wheel.

S2 Turbo
**This is what I've been told, not been in it yet so dunno if it is true**
F reg, Running around 260hp @ flywheel when built, brought up from England. Dunno MOT & tax position, cut out front bumper, Keeps up with the Impreza Turbo wagon I swapped earlier in the year up to an indicated 140mph. (the 208 hp wagon). Grey, but it has been vandalised and every panel is keyed, none deep. Fuel economy = horrific.

I dunno if he will even go for it (prolly no given the MOT & tax) but he was looking for an MR2 turbo, so do you think this would be an ok deal?

Cheers lads!

Keep the MR2 if it was me, or sell it and buy something else.

If a 260bhp RST can "keep up" with a Subaru with 208bhp, that has to be the slowest 260bhp RST in the world

I smell bullshit.....

Likewise, for that performance I would think 180-200bhp would be more realistic

Was thinking that about the performance guys, plus as you say I already have a S1 which I much prefer to the S2.
Was really just looking for your honest opinion guys which you've given me.

Looks like I'll stick with the MR2 and S1 - nice combo!
