Default Premium Bonds! I've won!!! LOL!
My mum was sorting thru some old paperwork and just found a £10 premium bond certificate with my name on it. She had obviously bought for me when I was born, as its dated November 1978 ! She never remember she even had it.

Just logged onto the website where you can check your bond holding number, and see if you have won --- and I HAVE WON !!!
Won £50 back in Feb 1985 !!! And its still unclaimed.

Cool!!! But £50 would have seemed like £1 million to me 20 years ago when I was 7 ! Now its just a night out.

Premium bonds are good, i had a sum of money for 3 years in bonds and won £250 in £50 prizes through the period i had them

It's best to trade them in when they get a few years old and then get a new batch

That's what I was told anyway.
