Which camera?
Ok this picture is from a Fuji Finepix E510
This is the Sony Cybershot DSC-U30 (at half the price)
For some reason the sony pic has been resized in photobucket, the original is much clearer!

Hard to say mate as you've taken 2 different pictures but i'd say the sony. I use an olympus mini which i've found to be great and makes an engine sound when you switch it on

Well this is the thing, Fuji is 5.1mp and £89.99 + memory cars and recharble batterys etc
the sony is 3.0mp but its £45 with 256mb card and rechargable batteries through my brother and perfectly ample for what i need it for, although i am fussy about picture quality
I know danja will say the fuji, i spoke to him earlier on

The fuji pics look pants, i dunno if its because they are shrunk or what, but they look shit

Quality little camera, massive LCD screen, just what i need Only thing that could be better is the low light capabilities.

It's not really a fair test to upload on here as they are all down sized. I think it would be fair to say that the quality is closely related to the number of pixels. Go for the biggest you can afford. I have a Digital too (Minolta D7D SLR) but the quality is not apparent until you look at larger images, in fact sometimes when the image is shrunk to fit it looks worse.
Go for the 1 you feel most comfortable using, that way you will take better shots.

TBH the Fuji pics arent the best, maybe because i was taking them?
Well i have been ising my brothers sony today and my girlfriends mothers Fuji E510 and i think im more suited towards the fuji as the zoom is excellent where as the sony has a very poor zoom and tiny screen!
Hopefully the Fuji is reserved at argos to be collected tomorrow!

Fuji
These are my pics taken with the Fuji...The Cossie gets downsized on here, so not suppsoed to be ripply doored lol
4mp, 10x optical zoom, macro mode, polarizer, Olympus 1.7x Tele Lens
Don't get me wrong, the sony's are the dogs too, but I found my Dad's 3.2mp to be poorer than my 4mp Fuji, and my sisters 5mp Olympus to be poorer than mine but better than the Sony.
All down to personal preference, which cam you feel comfortabnle with the most, and useability. Some cams freak ppl out and they just don't get on with them.
If you get the Fuji, I don't think you will have made a bad choie buddy

Gutted!
I highly rate my Fuji, without being biased. If I didn't, I wouldn't have bought it lol
But it's easy to use, does good pics, and is a good price.
