Default RS2000 Motorsport v Standard RS2000

I would like to know, what is the difference between a RS 2000 Motorsport Escort ( MK 6 ) and the standard RS 2000 MK 6 ?. I know the question might seem odd, but I am curious about it.

BTW i presume you mean "standard" and "motorsport" versions of the standard road cars, rather than whats the difference between a showroom car and a RS2000 rallycar?

And well, i didnt realise there was a "motorsport" option, thought that was a Escort Cossie only thing...

Unless a seller is claiming it to make some cash (tossers)

As above, didn't know there was a motorsport version.

But if you mean like something Gwyndaf Evans used to rally then about the only comparison was the shape of the shell

Never heard of that either.

Did used to see some rallying in the early 90's though. Never caught on as a FWD motorsport car thankfully

You may have got better answers if you called it the homologation version (but i doubt it)

Everyone seems to be missing the old "No sunroof" line.

So, who reckons its a 1.3 LX shell with the RS lump rammed in??
