why IS A large TURBO ESCOS better, what are the advantages, any info WOULD BE welcome

sorry - propper use of English will encourage more people to answer your questions.

Although in answer to your question - a large turbo Escos is better from a tuning point of view due to running Webber P8 management.

The small turbo escos uses Ford EEC-IV and has an MAF sensor between the turbocharger and air filter - this sensor limits the amount of air that can flow into the engine - even if you change the T28 to something larger.

But driveability round town, T28 small turbo escos for me all day long

The small turbo Escort will cost an extra Ł2k to get 450bhp from, purely because you have to bin the EECIV ECU and loom and another type (Pectel T2, Autronic, Webber etc).

Are MAF's really that bad ? 400+ Pulsars still use a MAF albeit an uprated one.
