Can someone explain the GSM's to me and what paper should be used with what print etc

i.e Matte, glossy, photo etc etc

I really can't seem to get the right paper for the job I'm wanting to do

Ok

So say I was wanting to print some pictures I'd taken with my digi-cam, what paper should I use

the Photo one or the Glossy one

also, what is Matte used for

Wish it said on the bloody boxes it comes in

Printer is an Epson R300

r300 here too, if doing 6x4" prints, use epson premium glossy photo paper 255gsm, its what i use the qualitys shit hot, looks like a real photo from a shop!
