Default IPOD / ITUNES QUESTION

at the mo i have a 20gb ipod its about half full.

if i buy my mrs a mini ipod how does it work can i just plug into my computer and it it loads my library onto the mini but what if my library is bigger than the mini will hold??

any one here with 2 if so what do you do??

im sure there is an upload/download button and all you do is tick or untick the songs you want to send to the pod in itunes, unsure how it will work with 2 ipods though but im sure that it will be ok, hope that helps.

could try doing by seting up 2x hardware profiles if your using windows 2000 or xp pro

To load up the songs into the mini you can just plug it in.
You're second Ipod (mini) will hold the first 700-900 songs on the iTunes list unless the unwanted songs are unchecked in the box next to the song.
Be aware that once the mini has loaded songs from your iTunes library, it can not be loaded with songs from another computer.

Hope that helps.

You can also do like Ranj says and make another profile and have her load up her songs.

NO.
The reason is to prevent from piracy. I know there's a program that you can use to take music off another iPod and put it in your comp. I think you need to do a search to find it (I'm guessing you're using a windoz?)
