How do you sort out a laser on a PS2?
My PS2 has packed up and people have said get a laser lense thing off of egay for it and replace it....

You have to take it apart and it's a nightmare.
Too many little screws, I'd take it somewhere and get them to fit it.
I lost me rag with mine and just went a bought a new one.

Some of my backups [lay in black and white on my small bedroom LCD TV, but fine on a normal TV.. any reason why this would be?

To get PS2 in colour with ntsc games on most tvs requires a rgb scart cable rather than the std one that comes with it, and make sure you put it in the rgb socket on tv, normally the blue one if more than one. They only cost about £3 at computer fairs
