My blue tooth has been playing up since I went abroad

It wouldnt recognise my phone, so Ive removed all the bluetooth hardware and reinstalled it all, it found my phone, so I installed it, and it said it had been sucessful, BUT it wont pick up my phone now but the bluetooth on my phone is swithed one, and my phone finds the comp

Anyone help?!!?

Im just stuck, its telling me the phones installed but yet its not picking up that the bluetooth is switched on PHONES

No I havnt actually It worked until I took my phone abroad and used bluetooth over there, tis strange

You know where you plug the blue tooth thing in your pc? well have you got any more usb slots available? if you have then try it in another slot, could be that your usb slot is buggered/ faulty, give it a try if you got another free slot

Kim, you may have your bluetooth on but it doesn't mean it's visible. Go to your connectivity and check thru the various settings, not just bluetooth on or off but visibilty and check the security settings if your phone has them listed.

Also you may need to pair your devices. If the phone can find the PC try pairing with it rather than just sending to it (if that's all you've tried).
