Default can i replace a rear bearing with only spanners?

can i replace a rear bearing on a s2 with only spanners, + no socket set?

my dads fooked off with it + i dont wanna take wheel off etc if i cant, tho i reckon i can...

I assume you have hammers and punches to knock the inner race out with and a pair of snips for the split pin? Screw driver for the drum? Or are you on discs?

Can you get the wheel off?

yep have a wheel brace... i have everything apart from a socket set. i have screwdrivers/hammers/punches etc

Then IMO, yes the job can be done with just spanners, bearing in mind that the rear wheel bearing nut shouldn't even be tight enough to need a spanner in the first place.

mate i wasn't taking the piss, just answering the question;

with ONLY spanners you would not be able to replace the bearing. now if you had said you had drifts,hammer etc etc then my reply would have been different

ok mate no worries, my mistake... i meant with out a socket set, using spanners as a replacement...

oh i see, the big nut holding it all in is only done up VERY loosely anyhow, and that's all you'd need a spanner for.
