That is the nasty one that has been mentioned in other posts where if the screw comes loose it drops into the engine . I would not fit this to my car if I was you (for the above reason). It is not a Mountune item.
I could have had your standard ISCV modded for Ł60 and that would have been ultra reliable and flown enough air for mild ALS.

The 1.7 is different in so much as it has discrete vct on the ehxaust valves and a better intake manifold

The one i had, the mountune one, its totaly different in operation to the standard one, and looks nothing like that one either.
Its just one giant valve going up and down, wheras the standard one is a small piston that moves up and down in a casing.

Yes but using locktite would mean you have just as much chance as a cam nut going loose and causing damage!....Its fine!...and to be extra sure i will check it every now and again!
