I went looking at them in Comet today, most of the 32" lcd's are £1400-£1600. To be honest, the Phillips one looked nicer than the other decent makes, i was looking at Sony and Panasonic.

just got back from a look in Powerhouse...

see this Sony one, Brava not Wega...

Westy the Sony i bought and took back was a 42" Plasma and not an LCD
I replaced it with my Philips LCD

thanks spadge.. I wasnt sure..

went for the Sony 40 LCD in the end.. see a deal which was too good to miss

just need a decent scart now tho.. may shoot over to richardsounds as they are good at that stuff Cheers for the advice

No problemo i'm glad you finally saw the light and went for an LCD
Don't go buying any shonky 20 quid scarts now

£20 ive seen them for 3.99 that'll do..

was tempted by the plasma.. just went with the majority of views/opinions

I want rid of the RST.. I dont use it.. know anyone after one for cheap £££ quick sale

Dont know what you have got against rear projector. Had a 42" for 2 years and feel that the quality for the cost is outstanding, its better than some plasmas ive seen!!

Abviously expensive plasmas are the nuts but for £1300 50" screen and high def you cant really complain about the sony rear projector

1600 with a fancy galss stand..

regards to spec.. I had it all typed out, but thread got deleted.. I will pm a mod to see if they can retrieve it..

its all taxed and tested.. harvey gibbs low comp build, made 200+ lb/torque on jampsports rollers... ahmed chip, ahmed springs, konis top adjustables.. full respray.. leather front cossie seats.. ermmm, pro alloy cooler.. RS 7 spoke alloys.. gearboxman stage 1 gearbox.. stage 1 hybrid turbo from SCC with receipt, series 1 rear windows etc etc etc etc

spent xxxx's on it lol.. owned it since april 99 a few years now..
