Surely we want WAR...back stabbing....banter...surely this is what makes you tick...Stress cause another camp know the opositions engine spec etc etc....BUT not dangerous war as we are all in the same camp with love for fast cars.

Id like to see some really good competition, but respectfully.

I dont see why there needs to be hatred for people to compete in your view Phil, i used to do a lot of martial arts, and althogh you are trying to hurt each other and beat the other guy, you are still respectful of him and are friends after.


So form my point of view i would love to see a showdown at brunters between MADrod and Martin for example, see who can get the best top speed on the day
But to me a better end to the day would be the loser saying "well done" to the winner, than walking over, keying his car and then calling him a twat.

 

Phil your a businessman, surely publicly slagging off you competitors is not a good thing? unless you are after a law suit.

It appears that its only the customers of the tuners that do this!
As chip said healthy competition is only a good thing, however i dont think it is really the way to gain a good rep.
Jamsport are a prime example, never see there punters on here slagging off other rst tuners, only praising them for there work, I think this will carry them a lot further than having the fastest car etc.

Phil, I hate to spoil your fantasy, but I think you will find that the majority of tuners colaborate to some extent .

For example, Martin's engine had input from Karl and Harvey.

Karl also collaborates with Zoo.

Harvey and Paul at PJ do business with each other.

Ahmed does business with just about everyone.

Obviously there is a lot of competition between owners of these cars and long may it continue .

I personally like Rod's attitude - gentlemanly competition - if only everyone could be like Rod .

 

Yep, totally agree, Rod has exactly the right attitude, he gives it 101%, but if he gets beaten he is a compelte gentleman about it, well IIRC, its been a while since it happened
