INJECTOR CHANGE?
Well you could just about make it safe if you turned the FPR down, but it would still be a long way from accurate at most points.
Why on earth would you want to?
If its all you have available and its just to crawl 2 miles up the road to the local rolling road it would be ok, but if its to drive around on then absolutely definately not!

Only ask because a chap in a Magenta Saph went out racing Phil 2400 and SiB with that very combination (greens chip + light blues)......he deffo melted a plug.....and when the plug was changed it was still running on 3 cylinders, possible piston damage

No, it was a proper mis-match. Young(ish) chap, his first Cossie........standard T3 turbo (4x4) deffo light blues and he said it had a greens chip fitted. Also the plugs were HKS iridium (cost him Ł70.00 for the set

If the guy can map it, he can fit 4 blues i am VERY sure. Its a max of 5 mins, 15 if you have to fit the kit and modify the pintle caps, which is another issue... you know they need modding right?
Maybe thats why Dougs fella melted his, perhaps he fitted std bosch pintle caps.. hic hic, splutter, purr..... pop!!
Be carefull out there folks...

Well i was also thinking this, im still mid build with my car and have a brand new set of greens and a stg3 chip, but my best mate wants to do a deal with a set of blues, my car has a t34, just got a 500 cooler and c/r is 7-2-1, along with the usual bits and bobs,
Would i need another chip to run the blues or can my car be set up on the chip i have?
or just stick to the greens and get it set up with them

I.E. not dark blues as fitted to standard T34 Es Cossie's?
You will need a proper chip to suit your engine spec
Yes mate light blues, So when i get my car set up will it make a difference to the chip i have because i`ve changed my c/r, or is that ok on a stg3 chip?
basically i want my car set up with the chip i have, and if i cant run the blues with it then i shall just leave them out, but is the chip going to be ok for my other mods, or will i need a different one to suit
cheers
