Default To cage or not to cage???

Getting near to finishing my 2ltr nova now.
and coming up to christmas my bird is gonna need to buy me something!

My original plan was to leave it quite standard and a bit "chavy" but it be quick. so people would laugh and take the piss but then eat their words off the lights!
But now im concidering stripping it out totally, sticking in a roll cage and dropping it nice and low on a decent set of wheels.

it already has a set of cobra buckets with harnesses so it would look quick cool with the cage. what do you lot think?

Id cage it but thats just personal choice

if your going to leave it "chavy" then rip out the buckets and stick standards back in there.

I remember seeing a Chevette Saloon with a 2L 16V in it. Was still the origional blue colour with standard wheels, low backed seats ect. Proper sleeper

cage it... i had a safty devices one in my escos, was a talking point for the police when i chucked the car in a ditch

it would make you feel safer (and obviously be safer) and helps with any chassis flex

I voted against the cage as i liked the orignal idea but wouldnt do any harm to do it
But i would change the rest of the car to go with it

i liked the idea as well, but im thinking people will kinda have a small amount of respect for it already because of the buckets, wheels etc.
also it will hopefully sound half decent and not to raspy like most novas so im running out of things for people to laugh at except from the fact that it is just a nova still.

only other option is get the front seats out of the other nova i have, but i refuse to put burberry check seats in my car! alough it would finish it really well and make it a propper sleeper

Deffo get a cage

Although I have noticed that since fitting mine I get less people wanting to race me.....they see a car on the road with a cage and instantly think it must be something special so don't try it on
