Heater Matrix
Out in the frst this morning for the first time in two months and realised how naff my heater was. How much would a new one cost and can you get them from a motor factors or is it dealership time?
Can you buy upgraded ones?

exactly the same position as you!
im starting by doing thermostat, and whilst coolant is drained ill flush the matrix.
if that doesnt work apparantly they are about 15-20 quid from motorfactors, or Ł50 from Ford as I went in there yesterday and asked

Ł60 odd for new rad or go down scrappy and get another one for a score 1/2 to fit! just be careful when removing the bottom plastic cover as the clips snap off!

they all ways burn out for some reason ur blower only works on speed 2 and dont work on the rest it will be the resistor the small white thing that sits on top of ur blower
