What are my options gearbox wise for my XR2i 16v??

And i'm talking fitment and not "A Bernie Box"

I'm running a Mondeo silver top 2.0 16v lump and my current 1.8 box is on its last legs and about to die, the ratios on it are pants - topping out at 110mph @ 6500rpm

I'm getting a Fezzie Rs Turbo box tonight in the hope that it'll A) Last longer and B) Give me a better top speed (Not that i'm fussed to much as i prefer 0-60)

So whats the coo peeps??

Are there any 2.0 engines that will fit?? Rs2k? Rs1800 whats that like? What about a mk3 Escort box? S1 perhaps?

The fezzie turbo box should be ok, not sure on ratio's tho m8. I also don't think they come with an LSD

I don't think that will matter too much m8, it should be able to keep the power down, and it's not gonna get a real hammering if it ever goes on track All you gotta hope for, is it's not fucked
