never tried to clean them, the material gives me the freaks so i never touch it. burnt mine a lot with welding sparks, seems to stand up to it pretty well!

Which bit you want to know about? There is over Ł450 of flocking in my car, and Ł2000 worth of gauges, plus my Damo labour lol

Depends, I paid alot of money for my dash because I needed it ASAP, and they did it in 2 days, as opposed to waiting 3 weeks, but they did a spot on job.

All the people above have quoted cheaper prices than what I paid, but to be perfectly honest, I have never seen flock as good as mine.

Very easy to clean. Best use a hoover for light dust but mine can be wiped clean as are fully water proof as such.

I doubt he has the the correct electrostatic equipment that is needed. Mine is the same as Central Blast Cleaning and Prodrives and is a fair investment!

There are some cowboys out there that believe they can appy flock with out the electro statics.

If it is the same guy that was offering cheap dashes to the xr2 guys, ask Madmac on here for a look at his dash. Looks like someone has thrown clumps of hoover dust at it

Here is a picture of a dash from a company up north that charge Ł100 per dash and still do not use electrostatics. See how patchy it is. You can see the light grey dash through it in places. The fibres will also not be standing end on so will have sod all anti reflection properties.

If you have a dyson use the brush extension that comes with it. They are the best way i have found for cleaning them.
