Theyve had over 600bhp out of the CA18DET on road cars so far mate.
And S13s still with the CA18 running 9s in Japan

It has almost no interchangable parts with an S12 silvia either (different engine too).

I thin k the correct forum term is

Back to the point tho- IMO no point getting it checked as cant change the fueling. IMO if seems to be overfueling at idle due to the dumpvalve, the AFM isnt liking it, and any slight air leak after the AFM will cause overfueling off throttle.

And AFPMSL at Ginge spazzing out

Don't think the was actually earned there Steve because they are basicly the same engine in those early 200's as was in the Sylvia. Obviously they can be tuned and modded but as far as i can gather Big Wigs hasn't been and thus won't feel quick as he pointed out it doesn't
The Silvia had a 1.8 8v with a T2 turbo, basic managment, and no intercooler.

The S13 has a 1.8 16v with a bigger turbo, intercooler, and generally more modern all round.
The only thing the engine has in common is its capacity and cyls.

You sid itd never give you neck snapping accel, you never said it wont at mo.
And mild tuning gives well over 200bhp, so Gregs wont be far off, not exactly slow.

Face it Spadge, you very wrong
Like i care lol

Lambda fits in the turbo elbow that the downpipe fits on mate, so wont be removing it.

Should be able to see the probe on the back of the turbo if you look in the engine bay.

My elbow has a place for it, but its not tapped into for it, just a blank circle of metal.

de cat will be awesome and wont affect anything negatively at all.

the sensor in in exhaust housing normally i think and there is a multiplug that goes from the sensor to the wing somewhere (then to loom) you can just unplug it at the wing plug (saves fucking about near the exhaust mani when hot

yeah just go round back of car and see how high you get then do unplug the sensor and do the same.

if you pass out when then the sensor is unpluged then its working

if it makes no difference (and/or you pass out the ist time ) then its fooked

revs wont change just the car should run richer if not then that means the car was running richer anyway (hence no change)

you can get a lambda sensor from the scrappies as there should be loads of them in other nissans (only a standard narrow band one not the expensive ones) does it have 3 wires going to it??

should be yes..... just unscrew it and take it to a breakers and check the part numbers

If you have a multimeter you can check thats its working that way too it should oscillate between 0-1.5 (cant remember the exact voltage but will be around that range)

What some people call a setup, others call a powertune and some literally think its a POWER RUN!! A setup from me is Ł100+vat +parts and what you recieve for your money is explained here:

http://www.motorsport-developments.c...ginetuning.htm

But prices will be going up in January as its too cheap.
