NICE never even give it a thought to look for a website like that, takes me back to when i was at school, me and a mate used to go to closed down industrial places like that, and look around, never had digital cameras then or any camera come to think about it
Its like being in a Nuclear Holocaust, type of thing, where times just stopped, it a well spookey feeling

Im well into shit like that
See that signal box n train track there? I been on that, had a bit of a sly wonder around when was there on my old job.
Honestly it looks VERY similar to when the place was still open, no joke, is a really creepy place.
I dont know if they still there (but i bet they are) but if they managed to break into the engine sheds, theres trains in there they used to use to shunt the wagons around etc too...
Loadsa shit in that place, whole place looked well decrpid and victorian even when was open.
Cool link

Man, I have to admit, I've just spent an hour reading through that site.
Steve - sure I remember you once talking about a bunker down some country lane somewhere and an episode you had in relation
Would be awesome if you could re tell the story mate as I remember it being a good read, a long long time ago.

Blame the search engine on here!
It wasnt that long ago, a search for Corsham should bring it up, but it dont, wouldntve been removed would it?
I really wanna go look round Longbridge, if heading into brum from longbridge the road goes over the train track you see in them pics and on the left is an old disused (since 60s/70s i reckon, but seemingly complete) longbridge train station on that track, always wanted a nose round there too, its an indoor type thing, possibly connected to the factory on that side of road.
Then again i know of 100s of places i wana explore...

I used to park my coach in Lenister gardens, remember a blue badge guide telling me stories about that building, couldn't belive it when i got out and actually had a look - bonkers!!
Many moons ago when i used to work for Lewisham Council, one of my mates used to tell me of the old Crystal Palace railway line that used to lead to the Crystal Palace Exhibition back in the early 1800's
I couldn't belive my eyes when, in such built up areas behind a mass of tress were all these old steam train tunnels
Hides this.........
Used to spend many of my lunchtimes exploring these places, very, very interesting
More here about it...

englands largest disued mental institution is near me and holds a morgue, church, school, graveyard,Train station etc etc its Massive!!! was closed down due to abuse to inmates and lack of staff per patient. Been a few times but started to get on top when razor wire was added to perimeter fence so stopped going, tried to get plans of the buildings as rumours said the morgu was underground and that i had to see!!
