Default Bernie / gearbox man

thinking of purchasing a stage 1 gearbox from "cts" sure ive heard nothing but good things about him and his company also fast ford had one fitted to there S2 so i woulda thought they must be good! im not trying to cause problems for the guy just sure ive heard he's really good! any help would be great!

my car ony has 153bhp! if i was to go for more in the future wot sort of power will the stage 1 box be capable of taking? i wouldnt be going stupid powerv though!

I have his stage one box in my S2. It is the only gearbox I have had that has lasted more than 12 months.

Can't fault the box in the slightest Go for it and you will not regret it

Thats good to know my gearbox is coming to its end lol
Was wondering what power the stage 1 box could cope with

My old Fiesta Zetec Turbo did a 0-100 in 9.5sec and a 12.7 quarter mile with Bernies Stage 2 so your 153bhp should be fine

well Oranocoi has over 260lb torque, so your 152 bhp will be fine

I also have the Stage 1 box in mine... broke numerous boxes before
No probs at all with this one

I too have a Stage 1 box and it's the nuts

There's a travel inn just down the road from Bernies gaf But the cab ride down and back is a tad steep

We have yet to test a Stage 2+ to destruction, but Sunny had more than 400bhp....

slightly off topic ,but in ff they say series 1 doesn,t have lsd ,i think i,m right in saying they do
