Can you suddenly start sleepwalking when you never have before?

i used to sleep walk every night when i was a child, i used to go off down the road to post letters

then my dad put cow bells above the front door so it would wake me b4 gettin out of the gate lmao! one time i got caught walking to dads car with his keys in my hand,again i was off to post a letter!! lmao!

The causes of sleepwalking tend to be stress or anxiety, lack of sleep, eating before sleep, or it could be psychological problems.

so do any of them apply to you?

 

i was blindo drunk and went home from a night out on the piss early as id just had a fight with a mate (he started it, i ended it) and i put a bottle round his head

but this was at least 4 hours after i went to sleep.

ive been told i said "i was going to bed" even tho i obviously got out of bed and walked to other side of house to say this

hope i dont keep doing this, il have to start wearig clothes to bed, sleepwalking naked is not a good look

 

I sleep walk all the time, I've actually got to the point were I remember some of the stuff I do, I do thing's like hiding TV remote's etc, only ever had one relation to pissing and it was when I was a kid, I pissed in the bin in front of my parent's! I also made my way to the local shop before.

And just so you know, NEVER wake anyone out of a sleep walk, EVER.

think its too much of a shock for the brain as you are being controlled by the sub concious rather than the concious section of ya brain

 

One of my mates at work sleep walks, hes 32 and has done it all his life but recently he told us he has started to cook food in his sleep and on wednesday night he made chilli con carne and only woke up when he was draining the rice he scalded his hand, I shit you not this is true
the following night thursday he made potato cakes he's gona kill himself.

I actually just read up and what I said ( about wakening a sleep walker ) is claimed to be a common misconception! Always thought it was dangerous because the reason Chrissy said.
