have life insurance?

i've set up life insurance to protect zara incase rudey decides to bury me under patio one day... but now i dunno if its worth it, coz its highly unlikely he'd do that.. has anyone else got it?

ive also got about the same through work so Kel and the boys would have Ł250k or so

i got quoted Ł6.20 a month and zara would get one hundred and twenty thousand pounds!! lol

i get cover from work for abt Ł300K so Jax would be fine - especially as i will be in aposition to pay off the mortgage in Jan

I have a prob though

If anything happen to Jax she wants her half of the house to go to her kids (my step kids) & not me.

I dont have a prob about them having what is rightfully theirs but would leave me up the creek if i had to find Ł250K at short notice
So will insure her life for Ł250K which will cover thier inheritance & leave me able to keep the house

The quotes i had were about Ł50-Ł60 per month

ive got life cover from work, 3 times my anual salary i believe (or something like that) plus my pension

then got cover with my mortgage as well , which pays the mortgage off and a lump sump

im worth more dead than alive

 

Ive got some cover with Rolls-Royce but not a seperate policy...

Made me think about it when i applied for my loan last month as they asked if i had it.

Ill have to sort it sometime i think

 

i took one out years ago to cover my lifestyle, it covers me for life loss but mainly at the time if i had an accident & couldn't work it pays me for my days off etc....
mine is with 'combined insurance of america'

Make sure the term is right Annaleaze no point having a 10 year term when your likely to need the cover until Zara is 18-21 and likely to be self sufficient.

All very well looking at a 10 year term giving you cover over the next 10 years however your age will then cause the premium to be dearer to cover the next 8-13 years.

Do it once and do it correctly.
