If you guys have a crack at the Caravan record, IMO you have to fit a cage.

Those sort of speeds with that much leverage behind you is asking for trouble, as I'm sure Matin will confirm!

Must be a strange experience in a car that normally flies past 128 mph ( or whatever the record is ) and to know its straining its nads off to get up there . Taking the caravan off must be like untying a large anchor which was attached to the bumper

best conversion ever

and was wiped all over the tarmac by a ford
In fairness, remember the feature was about getting -their- budget car to 200mph, and to prove it could be done on a budget by a none-manufacturer, they showed Fensport and MADevelopments cars. They didnt have to suggest this, nor did they have to show the footage of it when the Lotus still didnt make it, but they proved it could be done with the MAD car then went back to the Lotus. I dont think they were disgruntled either, Tom Ford clearly mentioned Tiff got beat, and Tiff accepted it, commenting that it took 6 years to do it, which is obviously in-accurate because 6 years ago Rod and Mark were not thinking "lets crack 200mph" lol Main thing for Mark is the car was advertised, clearly stickered with MAD stickers and video proof it can be done, just a shame Tiff didnt mention "MADevelopments" as he did "Fensport". Get it on Top Gear I say, see what the Stig can do with it round the track and hear Jezza's opinion's after meeting Mark in a previous encounter during Full Throttle lol
Correct
5th gear lads were in no way unhappy with us or the Fensport car. The Producer said to me " i realise you guys do it for breakfast" he was also Happy with the cooperation we gave them & not making any stipulations on taking part, others did want special treatment & they were not invited.
Tiff was most unhappy with his team, cos he expected at least to be close to the Target, but didnt sound it on camera remember he was being paid to drive.
After the event we met him in a garage filling his BMW & he was first to leave with the comment " At least i will beat you out of here".
Deffo no jealousy they just excepted they had failed.

Not spoke to Rod about that but thats a thought Cosworth Caravan record holder sounds cool We might aswell Take all the Cossie records from the last person but then again we used NOS so that wouldnt count

Mark[/quote]

might as well take all the cossie records?! you might have gone faster top end but that's about it , have a go at the caravan record... its harder than it looks

Compound Charging - it's the future

I would love to see a plot of Rod's and Martin's acceleration to compare. Both cars are incredible, and i hadthe honour of being there when Martin broke his last record. Keep developing them people

Have this somewhere
0-60 Martin is 1.31 quicker
0-100 Martin is 1.07s quicker
0-150 Mine is .63 quicker
Above 150 is where mine is mega quick. 0-200 around 25secs.

so 100-150 mine is a lot quicker but Martin will address this im sure with his new car. Remember mine is a full weight road car with a 5 speed slush box so not bad really.

No idea but a lot more than a standard Saff thats for sure.
TKO, Jag Diff & 1500 gauges for a start. Their is also Nitrous etc & a lot more than Standard sound deadening. Ive double sound deadened the Boot & all major panels to cut down on noise as i dont like my fillings falling out so you tell me. I once took everything out of it , all but one seat etc for one run & the bloody thing was slower so obviously the heavier it is the faster it goes. .
Also the accleration times for my car were done on the old conversion & is much quicker now certainly from 100 on. For instance the car is now a full 5secs quicker 150-200 than it was in the 201.8 mph Spec.
When i get the data log im sure the car was quicker 150-200 in the rain at the daddy thrash than in the dry in GT35 guise. If only i was 30 & had time to further develop this car. Think 212/213 is all that can be expected from it in this guise which would set a new Bruntingthorpe Topspeed record a nice point to stop me thinks.
