what engine though?! a 1300 motorbike engine!? or a viper v10?!

all depends on what revs and boost youre gonna have to run. on a viper, a pair of T3s would probably make 700bhp on about 10psi. on a small engine, you need bigger exhuast housings to be able to rev the fucker high enough to make the power, and obviously a compressor man enough to chuck enough boost in.

A single gt55 will see 3000bhp chum so you could sell the other Turbo & buy yourself some blue neons for the side skirts.

so its on a v8?!

if the rest of the engines been worked dude id imagine you'd only need a pair of fettled T3s!! stg three kind of spec, 360 thrust bearing, maybe a bigger zorst housing....

im not expert though just what id sugest with my relativly limited knowledge!

Pair of T34 wouldnt be too bad to be honest in principle, but it all dependson the VE of the engine, and rpm you would be doing.

How much boost do you need to flow 800bhp on your engine?

You need to know that to cross reference it to a compressor map to find a turbo that wants to flow 35-40 lbs at that boost level.

chips
so what about a pair of gt 42 i,now you can get about 1000bhp on just a single gt42 but i like the idea of twin turbo at what revs doest34 make full power and what sort off boost do they hold

ITs about rpm + capacity + boost mate, its not just T34=5500rpm, it is in a cossie at 25psi, but it wont be on a 7 litre v8 at 10 psi, that why you need to give more details before anyoen can be useful.

Two huge turbos like GT42's seems very over the top, as its going to be laggier than two GT30R's which would do the job just as well at that level.

But ONLY if they are on their compressor map at the boost you want, and you still havent said what that is so no one can help!

More details needed, a lot more details!

What CR is it?
What boost are you going to need?
What volume is it?
