Cheers Malc
You were lucky, been customers for close on ten years and they said my contract allows for only one subsidy towards a digibox, and, if you cancel and re-instate your contract, you are still the same customer

So I bought a box off eBay and just pay the extra tenner a month (which we paid when we had tivo).

Well I let the man convince me Sky+ would be as good as if not better than Tivo.... NEVER NEVER again will I listen to him!!

Tivo was great, had learning capabilities, fast menus and clever searches amongst other things. Sky+ is just a very pale version of it as far as I am concerned. Great idea about the double channels, but the menus are outdated and the searches far far far not powerful enough. What they all need to do is to combine a tivo with a sky+ box and hey presto.... Then it would be perfection!!

I think Sky Plus is a bit pointless all the time Sky and the broadcasting companies keep repeating a program to death!

'Bummer - I missed it...'

'never mind I'll watch one of the 300 repeats later this week '

For everything else, there's BitTorrent
