Default efi fitting crank sensor pully from sierra cvh???

did u have to take bottom end out to get the pully on if so might aswell just swap the engine to frst one!!!!

wouldnt have thought so as you can fit a pulley with the engine in situ

for mine it was case of dropping the engine down and fitting if from the wheel arch!!! tricky but possible!!

if its too thick to take off, just drop the engine down by undoing the mount and letting it down on a jack. you should have enough clearance then...

actually yeah i do remember him say something about beating the inner wing



but this is adam the nut case were talking about here, how likes to sit at home with his crash helmet on and strap himself into his named bucket seats

the pully has to be machined down or it hits on the inner wing!!!

no pics of it tho!! sure a few ie gadget ,jano will know more!!!

nothing at the moment escort's broken and golf's got no tax.

you may have seen the escort (xr3i), mercury grey with white mondeo 12 spokes. i'm working at vauxhall at the moment. just trying to think if i've seen your car before....

You have to get the pully machined

Then you need to drop the engine slightly to fit it

As said, get the pulley machined down, undo the engine mount and then you'll have enough to get the pully on!
Don't forget you'll need a spacer though as the bolt will go tight before the pulley is clamped as the pulley is thinner than the standard one!!
