Bumped into my ex-boss today - in another of his new motors (bastard 
)
Bling-fuckin-bling X-reg Ford Lightning F150 SVT
Exactly like this, but without the
bonnet vent 
So I said "gis a go then" and he promtly told me to fook off
But DID take me out in it
And HOLY SHIT does it go!!!!
5.4litre Supercharged V8, making 380bhp/450lb ft, and 0-60 in less than 5-and-a-half seconds, even in a nigh on 2tonne RWD pick up Not much slower than a Porsche 911, and anihilates Boxters, which he kindly demonstrated to me Even scared the fook out of an E36 M3 Evo
It's jsut brutal, but at the same time soooooooo smooth and when cruising you forget your actually there
I fooking want one!
Except they go for £20,000-£25,000 And they're all LDH

Actually, so did I I red one one my way into work yesterday morning I remember seeing it from the back on the truck thinking "WTF is that wide ass thing?" Then got along side and saw the Lightning badges on the wings.... First thing in my head was "I wonder if he wants to sell it?"

Two of my friends have them but in Canada they are a summer truck only, no too good in the winter.
If only they made them 4WD then I could justify one as a rep mobile.
I can't own 2 cars and a truck that need to be stored 6 months of the year

My mate from Roush Engineering helped design that, he got it sometimes for the weekend cus he went to uni at Birmingham every friday so why would give him the test cars to run the milage up on and get running data for the car.
And I got a ride in it! Sounded fooking awsome!
