thats what i thought the exhaust cost him £250, i know that puma racing done an independant test on after market exhaust and only one out of ten showed a improvent over a new standard items, for my car i just bought a brand new standard center section and then just removed the back box seems to work pretty well sounds nice aswell, sounds like a full system.

Very little difference i would expect, unless its a particuarly badly made one (powerflow vary a lot) in which case it may have lost quite a lot, but it certainly wont have gained anything significant.

Only way to put a figure on it is a dyno comparison against a standard one.
But i bet he would have got more power by lapping his valves in if its done many miles!
(ie i still doubt it makes standard power now even if its a good exhaust)

Well if he really wants to know an exact figure, tell him to take it out and strap it to an accurate dyno, anything else is guesswork really, in terms of to the nearest bhp or two anyway.
Im sure its louder now though, which is no doubt what really interests him!

Cat-back is PANTS. The filthy horrible old "Cat" is probably the most restrictive bit anyway.
Anyway, maybe www.passioncitroen.com would be a better place to ask?
