bmw e30 touring cosworth
hi folks, its my first time on your site as youve read by know that i drive a bmw touring....but all is not lost as ive just had a cosworth conversion done on it, its still a work in progress as ive only had it back a week but its going well so far 
i was at your meet last night in coatbridge scotland and i was made more than welcome by some decent guys from this sight and my car went down well, so thanks again.

nice one guys, the conversion was done by derek @ ace performance cars in carnwath, lanarkshire, he built the engine for me for my last project, a 1985 toyota celica cosworth! but that was written off in a race with a motor bike...but the engine lived to race another day hows it going chip? im working on the pics now.thats a nice m5 by the way johnsmiff, good to see another bmw!

I work in Edinburgh so get some pics up so I know what I am looking for when out in the Cossie!!!....lol
I saw.......wait ......nay heard and M5 wail its way out from Barnton this morning, it sounded awesome, not like the normal sound it was so so meaty.

a bad result at the weekend but we'll bounce back to win the league, the cup then next season the champions league and onwards to world domination 
or probably not...

Hi mate and welcome, I've done this conversion on my old E30 325i, what does yours handle like as the engine has been mounted alot further forward than I had mine, I used a pedal box and took the standard servo out which meant I could mount the engine close to bulkhead

jonsmiff, what colours your M5, need to keep ma eyes open for it
fuzzy, spoke to you on sunday at the PF meet, car looked good
i noticed on this pic, drivers side strut top, follow the weld for the engine mount on the left, and their looks to be a almost horizontal line, is it a cut that's not been welded or just incase!
