[Scrollbars for big pictures] Feature removed
Hello all
As requested by lots of members, the feature of scrollbars when too big images where posted is now removed. I counter coded it to go back to initial state. Now, you have to be aware that you HAVE TO be careful not to post too huge images, because this really affects ppl with little screen resolutions like 800x600.

Lol.... Pet, is there not a way that if someone posted a pic that was bigger than 500pixels wide it would automatically be reduced to 500pixels wide?
So if you post4ed a 640x480 picture it would automatically be reduced to 500x381? That way the pic would keep it's aspect ratio and the pages would never get stretched (and 500pixels is the same size as maximum sized sigs
)

Cheers Pet,
Any reason why you can't resize the pic as the page is rendered using the image tag size properties ? You could even go one better and and resize it based on the browser window size settings

I prefered it how it was. Now I've got to scroll across to the right to read all the fecking pages.
Can some boffin tell me what size my screen res should be on a 14" tft ?

Stu - maybe worth clarifying for everyone what a sensible maximum picture width is for the average screen resolution that people are viewing the forum on? I presume you can see from the web stats the range of screen res that people are browsing with?
