My MD just saw me browsing PF at my desk..............
He came right up behind me and I thought "uh oh, he's gonna know i've already been done for abusing internet access in the past"..........
and he says to me "Oh that reminds me, I saw your Cossie in the car park this morning, meant to ask you if you liked all fast cars, cos i'll show you what I bought myself.................(proceeds to go to website on my pc)"
Says he took it up Santa Pod a couple of weeks ago, and that he used to race in a Westfield and wants to get back into it
Recently cost him £350 labour to change the diff, and £1500 for a used gearbox
Some people have FAR too much money............, but how cool is my MD, the last one here was heavily into F1 Racing so I got on really well with him, and now this one is into cars too

why cant you just look at the net without someone watching you.

thats a cool car! My MD drives a new Maserati ...about 3 weeks into ownership he asked me if i knew where to put the oil in as his oil light had come on ..some people dont deserve nice cars!

i pulled up to a petrol station on the motorway and a lambo came up and then one of those. I did'nt know the name of it but the guy was having a hard time getting out as its a small door and he wern't a small guy, the guy in the lambo had to get out and give him a hand to get him out,mad me laugh . the car sounded mental tho

I haven't been moaned at yet for looking at PF 
I usually get stupid comments by people that know nothing about looking at boyracer things. "Why not buy a quick car rather than waste time with stick on bits" is one of the comments I've had in the past.
I did try and explain that this is an enthusiast site and 12 second ¼mile times were far from slow only to be told his mate's got a Mustang that'll do it in 8 seconds. But then hadn't heard of Santa Pod

I can confirm (if it is the exact same car) that it is over 500bhp.
Back in the day when I worked at SCA, we put it on the RR. First time it made 290bhp and we pi55ed ourselves laughing. Turns out it was only running on 2 of the 4 barrels of the Holley carb. Came back the following week and topped 500bhp.
It had an American built and imported V8, which had been somewhat played with!!
Awesome!!!

Oh......... and he also said that altho its RWD it doesn't begin to twitch until 160mph

I used to, then they changed some procedures which meant I dont have that much Dealer contact anymore............ now they're changing some more so i'll hardly have any Customer contact, so it's time for me to move on me thinks. Got an interview tmoz

I told him about TOTB and he said it sounded like a good day that'd he'd love to do but he thinks he's got an iffy diff so doesn't want to play till it's sorted.
