I would say yes to the MOT and Insurance .Tax proberly wont matter as the land is privately owned

On the CCC days, we have taken a number of untaxed, uninsured, and not MOT'd cars up there with no probs - NOT sure if the same for the RSOC day though.

As long as it isn't hanging then it should be OK

If my mate pulls out cause getting the bits he needs for his Cossy are looking doubtful, then I'll be on there this year so watch out for the mobile chicane ...Now whats the number of the local hire car place that does some decent rear wheel drive cars

Spiky, no idea m8 but I would of thought some kind of level of cover would of been good in case you hit someone by accident

actually, on a race track, insurance dont mean shit.

even if you have a track day insurace, you gotta pay the first 3k excess, and you cant claim off anyone else, as its "at your own risk"

Only if you drive to the track. Most of the people I know with track bikes have bought write offs with no V5 documents.

Unless it looks like it will fall apart then you will be okay IMO.

Mine was £1000 excess, but I'd hate to think that if I wiped someone out through my fault that they'd be paying for my mistakes ...could of always towed it down the road into a ditch to make a claim. Unethical I know, but so are the premiums we pay for such things.

I can just visualize Spikys mate in his plastic 2ft tractor complete with funnel, pedals and trailer giving it the big 'un round combe making the engine and tyre noises ...I'll get my coat

I think you only need an MOT , not insurance or tax. Saying that i have never known anyone check it. You dont have to show any of it so i suppose its up to you..
