Default L6 or L8 ecu? Whats the advantages?

I've got a L6 in my 2wd but thinking of swapping to my mates L8.

He has a 330 ahmed bayjoo eprom with pectal baby board.

Is this a better route to take? Instead of just upgrading the chip in my L6.

And what are the advantages or disadvantages of doing this? If any.

CheeRS.

L8 has transient fuelling, I think there are more mapping points I think? You'll also need a different TPS. PF09 rather than PF01 if memory serves me correctly.

Thanks for the info, Def sounds like the route to take then? Not sure what transient fuelling means but heard that you are able to map the boost through every gear on the L8.

I;ve still got to check the tps as not sure what on there. Its red but been told that means nothing.

Thankis again!

My Red one was a Pf02 which isn't a cossie one. They are quite expensive for the L8 approx £80!

So to have a live map from Karl Norris would I just leave the ecu as is and he sort everything out? Would he need to put new chip in? Or just remap the existing one?

Do you no roughly the cost for this? Or do you have contact details please.
