DiscLock mod?
What is it?
We have one on our FRST and I intend on keeping hold of it.

on mine i have welded on two half moon pieces of metal to the back of the disclock.
this extends the lip at the back of the wheel so it cannot be pulled off.
As long as you extend the lip on the back of the disc lock in anyway thats the main thing.

Handy then as my bro is a welder by trade so he can sort that out for me. May get him to powder coat it while he's there

depends on the size of the wheel, its even worse on smaller steering wheels.
But the more you can cover the back in the better.

on mine too, i had to bend the extra metal that got welded on so it would fit as it sat near to the centre of the steering wheel.
just needs the back of it flared out.
you will see when you do it.

If you dont have a welder handy, drill it and bolt an extra bit on, then deliberately round the nuts off.
No way they will really get round that while its on the wheel.

I added two large half moon shape sections of steel then just had to round of the centre to clamp round the steering wheel boss nice and snug!!
I also shortened the handle so that it wouldn't jam on the screen making it more awkward if someone were to get in they couldn't wedge it to try and bust the lock!!
Hope this gives you an idea of what to do Steve??

Good bit of work!
Still easy to get round them. Anything to make it harder helps i spose.
But the point is that if someone trys to get your lock off the wheel it wont be them parts they need to get at.

All you can do is add layers of security. I don't just rely on the disclock, there is a full CAT 1 alarm with a few of my own personal added toys to help keep my cars where I leave them.
If they want it bad enough the will have it though. Sad bu true

you must live in a bad place Ginge.
if they want to lift it,i'm pretty sure a drain cover will be nothing to a hi-ab.
