its not a bug gracey, fat32 is just SHIT and cant support bigger drives
fat16 cant even support 2GB+ drives.
infact back in the day, you couldnt see drives over 4mb they had to realise a new version of DOS that "broke the 4meg barrier"
HDD sizes have all gone a bit silly nowadays
if you ask me we all need to ditch microsoft based disk systems and move onto unix ones, they kick MS ass!!!
pps i just remembered, NTFS takes up even more HDD space than just the cluster info, each file has security information (so you cant steal the HDD out of one server and simply put it in another one and expect to read the secure files... well, thats the THEORY... lol) this information also takes up extra space, ever noticed whn you do a PROPERTIES ona file it tells you the file size, and then the "size on disk"
infact any file you create even if its only 1byte, will still take up a MINIMUM ammount of physical space on the disk (i cant rememebr the exact ammount but i think its 128bytes off the top of my head)
