Apart from the obveious boost gauge, what would you say is the next most important gauges to have?
I'm thinking...
1. Boost
2. Oil Pressure
3. Oil Temp
4. Water Temp
I already have an ACT guage
I'm also very limited with space, are there any gauges that double up? i.e. have 2 features instead of the usual one?

SPA dual gauges are very good, but they are expensive...
I would say all you would need mate to be honest is Boost, but it depends if you really want some gauges, and how many. The more gauges you have the more you have to worry about.

241 gauges?
I only planned on buying 4 Defi's originally, Boost, Oil Temp, Oil Pressure and EGT, but that was because I planned a powerful engine and planned to put it on track and give it some abuse. I think too many gauges for the road is overkill, especially on a standard ish car, but they are handy at times. I wouldn't bother with EGT's, as there is fuck all you can do with them anyway, and I never have a problem with them, the gauge is just handy for mapping.
Have a look at SPA's site, they do different combinations of gauge, but I would suggest Boost, Water Temperature, Oil Pressure and Oil Temperature, if only one gauge, then Boost and Water, imo, that's if SPA do that combo, which I am very sure they do.

Paul, you keeping the Factory Water Temp Gauge? If so, why have another one? Its not that important to know the exact temperature of your Coolant.
I would personally put the need for Gauges in this order........
1. Boost
2. Oil Pressure
3. EGT
4. Fuel Pressure
5. Oil Temperature
6. Water Temperature
That doesn't mean I would have all of them.
But, Tony has spoken some sense. The more Gauges you have, the more there is to watch, which can be a real pain and most of them are just academic, incase something goes wrong. Often I find that my Gauges behaving the same way every single time I take the car out almost become part of the scenery and I wonder if I would definately notice something going wrong in time to even have an effect on it.
