It's not a Ford, it's my mk2 Golf GTi but I figured it would be similar as far as starting it goes. I tried to start it earlier and it slowly died out like the battery was flat, but the electrics are all A1 and now it is not even trying to start when I turn the ignition. It's as if the immobiliser is on even tho it's showing as disarmed. The light on the dash above the icon below is flashing like mad as well:

Any ideas anybody?

 

 

Even if the battery won't turn the starter anymore the electrics will still look ok. It takes alot more juice to turn it over than it does to light up a few bulbs.

Have you tried jump starting it ?

 

Yup. Hooked it up to my dad's car and still the same.
