can anyone advise me on zetec turbo ignition advance
right basicly i have the car running nice up to a bar and looking for a bit of advice for going further
i have the ignition set at 20 in the omex at 1 bar of boost and 12:1 fuel ratio and i'm running 7.7:1 c/r
i did a short blast at 17psi with the ignition even more retarded (set to 12 on the omex) and a little more fuel but the tempiture guage went through the roof verry quickly and thought fook that !
the car feels fooking quick and will be running at the pod this sunday!
so i thought all you tuning experts could educate me about ignition timing turbocharged engines and what a safe level of advance woild be for seting up fueling.
