huge grommet where the main looms passes into the cabin from bonnet - poke through next to that! - i think its in a different place to mine compared to your car but there is always room for a carefully inserted extra length fnar fnar!

yeah i tried that but i can't seem to grab it from the other side. what if i drill a hole down the side of the battery, i think this goes into the cabin area, ialso tried putting it down through the front panel cause theres a great big cable that enters the cabin there aswell but i just can't get to the cable. what can i do?

make a new hole by the passanger foot well us a grommet and feed the wire down the plastic cover by the door that runs to the back seats, i wouldn't put the cable down by the main wiring loom u could pick up or cause interfierence.

use decent cable - will not get interference as there is no signal wires there!! - or drill a new hole but do not drill it vertically as you may well cause a leak even with a grommet

the main loom from engine bay to dash board will be in a big grommet with enough space round it for a new hole - push a bit of coathanger thru it & attach power cable to other end once thru then pull it back the other way so cable feeds into cabin!!

good luck

It's prety much the same with all car's, there is a rubber gromit in the engine bay about the size of an orange in the engine bay follow some of the other cables in the bay and they should lead you to it!

you think thats bad when me and a mate tried to fit his head unit in his probe we didn't realise the thing had a built in amp fitted in 1 of the back quarters we wer both sat there for ages.
