i've just posted this as a reply on rsoc but i'd thought i'd share her words of wisdom here....
all from a mates bird.
on seeing his underwater camera came up with the line....
can you only use it underwater?
she also said, on seeing a lemon tree/bush on holiday with ripe and un ripe lemons on.....
is that a lemon and lime tree?

I've posted it before, but when we were at Uni, my housemate's missus used to come up and stay.
Came down one morning, and all I heard her say was, "I don't want those eggs - they're not round enough"

You can also have lemon and orange trees combined...
Looks like she wasnt the blonde one, and if she was on holiday in seville or another part of spain its likely it was a lemon and lime tree...

"As citrus trees (An organism that is the offspring of genetically dissimilar parents or stock; especially offspring produced by breeding plants or animals of different varieties or breeds or species) hybridize very readily (e.g., seeds grown from limes can produce fruit similar to grapefruit), all commercial citrus cultivation uses trees produced by ((surgery) tissue or organ transplanted from a donor to a recipient; in some cases the patient can be both donor and recipient) grafting the desired fruiting (A variety of a plant developed from a natural species and maintained under cultivation) cultivars onto rootstocks selected for disease resistance and hardiness."

My brothers girlfirend started telling him (whilst watching the last shuttle launch) that infact they didnt need to worry about floating about as they had finally invented anti gravity! and they would stick to the floors as normal! (Yes she was serious, she said it like she was telling him some news item she had seen on the telly.) My bro then stared at her for a few seconds (probably in disbelief and frustration) and said something like "B1tch, youve been watching too much star trek" lol. I laughed my ass off when he told me.
Shes close to 30 years old btw.
Next one is my missuses mum. She was with a friend who had just met a new chap, she was advised that this guy had a very large nose and she should not stare or talk about it. The guy obviously had a complex about his giant nose. So they meet and go back to her house all together for a nice chat etc. She goes to make tea, puts the kettle on pops her head round the kitchen door and asks...................."oh Frank, how many sugars do you take in your nose!!!!"
I was laughing so much at that point I didnt listen to the outcome....not pretty though I bet.
LOL

this wasn't at a garden centre - just in the hotel grounds.
