Default Does the 1.8 Zetec inlet straight fit a 2.0 silver top?

As above really as iam collecting bits for my turbo conversion but am a little confused as to whether the 1.8 inlet goes straight on or the block/inlet has to be redrilled etc... ?

Also may be a silly question but why does no one use the standard 2.0 Zetec inlet for the turbo conversions?

Cheers chaps
