Default AEROQUIP FITTINGS,,,-8 -6 ETC???

anybody shed some light on the sizes of the fittings as im unsure of what -6 -8 etc is in terms of the pipe diameter (id-od)

are these the normal size that is used (most common)

will be using them on my fuel & possibly brake lines so wanna make sure i order the right 1's,,,lol

-6 fuel

-8 ... nothing really, i use this for ONE line on my power steering

-10 oil breather and supply

-12, oil breather

Except that PTFE and non-PTFE aeroquip have completely different internal and external diameters, and use completely different fittings.

pfte have a bronze centre piece that needs to be wedged between the braid and over the nylon pipe.. then fitted

non pfte is a basic cutter or compression fit

-3 for brake lines, and (generally) -4 for clutch/oil feeds..........
