probably have to remove the struts so you can get the nuts and bolts in.

Easy enough to do.

You are joking Phil.

Unloosen the top nut on the strut, undo the bolt on the hub, slide it out, long bar and prise out the strut, bit of weight needed too , when popped out, undo the top strut bolt and its out.

Easy.

What has the brake pipe got to do with it thats on the hub.

you can undo the bracket on the body if you cannot get enough leverage on the hub so it goes down a bit more.

they are "easy" to do once youve done one, i aint the most mechanical person in the world but i pissed the near side after taking hours doing the off side (and trashing the brake line , needed replacing so i werent arsed )

no lever required, bottle jack the strut from the brake line mount once its loose in the hub (chisel it open a tad and wedge it open), how easy that is with the springs still on i dont know as id already chopped mine up with the grinder

PS why would you need to remove the struts to fit a strut brace

cause mine has the holes in the wing and the nuts are under it, it was already fitted, i tok it off to take the engine out, thought it was taped into the shell, not a nut on the other side

cant get me sausage fingers in cause th strut is in the way

ahh i get you now
im sure it will be do-able without removing completely though
i never removed the struts (wide ass springs....konis at the time) when i fitted my brace....

...and that involved getting 4 mahoosive nuts per strut on from underneath

awkward as fook but possible
