Default Accessing Windows 2000 without password.. HELP..

I know this has been asked before and I have searched passionford for the answers..

I need to access a win2000 system, I have taken it off the domain at work, but now all the admin passwords I try will not work.

Need to get this system working again and have read before about apps you can boot off to access the system and make changes to the accounts.

help would be mucho appreciated.

Cheers guys

Andy

No, I think there is a way to bypass the passwords. On the motherboard there should be a password jumper - unplug system, remove jumper, plug back in and bot up - it should allow passwords to be disabled allowing you access.....

You need the Windows Magic Disc. Its a floppy disc, I have one at work somewhere. Very good, used it about a year ago to get into a computer.

These motherboard jumpers you are refering to are for BIOS resets, they wont reset any Operating System (i.e. Windows accounts) passwords.
