Default cossie spark plugs are these the right ones???

got some new plugs yesterday from halfords for the cossie, needed some quick you see!!! in there book they listed ngk bcr8es for cosworth ... are these correct???
the car seems to idle and run better than when it had the old plugs in

I wouldn't use these in a tuned car. You should use the Ford AGP 071 plugs, cheap as chips and good for 200 to 600bhp .

are these plugs likely to cause damage if there left in for a week or so then mate?

Not in normal driving, just don't hold any high boost.

Not if u dont rag the fuck outa it no

Should be ok if u run it off boost and dont cane it about poodling about, but thats never easy is it

As above unless you want to spend more on a plug with more longevity and better cold/slow running, in which case, the Denso iridiums are unvbeatable.

I used BCR8ES plugs in my first Cossie and it used to melt / blow the end off one about every other time I drove the damn thing (usually no.3 cylinder IIRC). Not sure molten spark plug tips would have done the pistons much good either, but I didn't know much about Cossie's back then and just kept changing them !
