Bass Junkies have some good kit for reasonable price. I wouldn't buy anything from Halfords by choice. I may have the curse of the stupid sales assistant or all the staff are thick as shit

Personally id go for the Kenwood KDC-W4031 CD Tuner with MP3

Burn tracks onto disk and play em, i can fit about 5 albums onto one disc, i have the older model

Kenwood decks always get my thumbs up That's why I've had three of them.

 

spend it on yer engine.

 

I have just bought a Kenwood 7031 head unit for 200 but it was on offer which they have since stopped.

 

my old just bought one as he showed me this morning - even got the gimps to fit it too

he bought a JVC one which flips down and looks rather funky and has mp3 facility for £150

not bad - personally im waiting to see if any fall off the back of a lorry for mine

http://www.mcs-direct.co.uk/ is the site to go for imo. They've always been cheaper than anyone else when I've bought ICE gear (including Bass Junkies).

My advice is go to Halfords, get them to show you the one you're interested in, try it all out, say you'll think about it and then buy it through MCS Direct. I've bought loads of stuff through them and never had any problems whatsoever.
