my old 3dr had a brand new 4x4 engine fitted and it needed a piece welded on at the top of the downpipe, where it joins the turbo(approx 3")

the reason why you needed to weld 3 inch into it isnt beacuse you had a 4WD fitted its because the the down pipe will hit the bottom of the 2 wd gearbox, plus all the exhaust brackets will be in the wrong postion plus the front pipe will hand down really low at not really suitable for speed humps

the car went into graham goodes a standard 3dr and had a brand new in the crate complete with ancilliries 4x4 engine fitted....after coming out with the new engine and the original exhaust,i noticed the extra piece welded in,but im sure there is more differences.
