Does it make a difference having such a long boost pipe?

Yep I was wondering that too... but then again some people say that having a fuckoff great RS500 intercooler on a Cossie doesn't cause more lag, even though logically it ought to...

inlet looks like a modded 2wd inlet plenum cover, could be wrong.

and regards boost pipe length its not actually that much longer at all than standard when you actually think about it.

Hello,

The Owner of this car who show'd it at the EFE '05 in Holland is also a member of the same Ford Team as I am.

The Car is an official 1985 Ford Motorsport (werks from Germany) Group A Series1. Used in the German Touringcar Championship in 1986. After that it was used in the Group H hillclimb and 'Deutsche Slalom Meisterschaft'

It's a beast of a car, He's currently restoring it to it's former glory, to also use it as track car.

The thing even has one centre wheelnut per wheel!

Here is his site, This car isn't featured on it, but will soon:

cheers

That's exactly what I was thinking, and fair play to the girl old surviving a racing to become a road car!

Looks like a carb based turbo system!
