What is out there that could fill the needs for a cossie to go 500bhp. Oh and has to have and internal wastegate
I can think:
GT30 Modern turbo quicker spool up than T4 etc
T4, Old style turbo strong as an old boot but is a lot more laggy than new turbos?

....now i can add to this topic as i built a GT35 spec engine and had it running before deciding it was a stupid idea and breaking the car to get a Subaru only to buy an Escos
...i digress....these type of turbos AINT a str8 fit and cause no end of aggro.....my advice is do what i will be doin with the OG engine...putting a T4 on it the only mod needed is the RS500 drop bracket for alternator and having a genuine 500bhp...it will spin up at around 4k RPM only 500rpm more than a T34 .63 and pull to 8000rpm nicely @ 2bar all day everyday...and lets be honest 500bhp is alot of horses and look at Kev Sharps Escos!!! and what Hadlands acheived circa 500bhp.....not forgetting a genuine 180mph top speed!

The AET GT30 is a drop in unit, You should be able to get the same type unit but you need to make sure the back side has the correct flange for the exhaust to bolt to,
You know you want Autronic

Bosch-Man,
No not with the AET unit as it has a similar backing plate to a T4 this is why it bolts up no problems, The GT35 however is a diff unit all together and needs a spacer plate to move the turbo away from the manifold if using the AET version,
Yours was the exturnal unit with PJ link pipe this is why you had to do other mod to fit it.

Rhys
No you need a wastegate elbow with a cone on the back so the downpipe mates to it correctly, I have not seen the same type on the APT site.
